People ask my here, on Facebook, and In private messages how on earth I can eat all the wonderful food I cook and the delicious things I bake and still fit into my size eight jeans.
My secret is simple. Consistent, healthy breakfasts and lunches combined with daily exercise. Every morning I have an 8oz glass if unflavored (read that as LOW in sugar) keifer. Keifer is cultured milk, 99% lactose free, full of probiotics and high in protein. My lunch is the same thing every week day. Training food. Two cups of chopped raw vegetables, one can of water packed tuna, herbs, and two tablespoons of Bragg's unfiltered apple cider vinegar.
One half of a peeled cucumber, one quarter of a bell pepper, one radish, one third cup shredded carrot. Drain the tuna well. I use dill and fresh cracked black pepper. I will prepare five of these containers on Sunday so my lunch is ready to grab those sleepy week day mornings. An apple is my usual daily dessert.
It may be boring to eat the same thing each day. But, it is healthy, filling, tastes and did I mention healthy? And it keeps me looking decent for an old broad.
