Chicken curry puffs with an Indian influence. They were very good, complex flavors, lots of onion, ginger and curry. Some raisins and coconut in the with chicken, all wrapped up in my favorite refrigerated yeast dough.
I used my homemade crescent roll dough, which the kids love in both my homemade hot pockets and simply as a dinner shaped crescent roll.
These were a nice change. I made each pocket smaller so sets went into the freezer for future weekend lunches. I loved curry puffs from the corner bakeries in Singapore - Polar Puff & Cakes. The Singapore curry puff was more Malaysian - potatoes and a very spicy red sauce in with the chicken. I would sweat from eating them. I miss them. Perhaps next time I will try to duplicate that taste.
