Bulgogi is Korean BBQ and was one of my favorite meals at a hawker stand when I lived in Singapore. Shredded cabbage topped with sizzling hot beef and a sprinkling of sesame seeds. Typically served with a side of kimchee.
I have made traditional bulgogi at home, from scratch. It is a lot of work and makes a lot of food. It is something I will cook when I am entertaining a crowd.
What is in this sauce? How can I make it at home? Is there an easier way? Yes - my local market carries more 'international' foods than they do the typical American foods. This brand of sauce is a great substitute to homemade.
Friday supper - one of my favorite food memories - modified. Enjoy the almost spring!
